If you come to Beaumont Emergency Hospital for treatment of a chronic condition or have trauma requiring additional care, we make sure the patient has a seamless transition to their specialist of choice for continued care. We will transfer your records and imaging to your doctor within 24 hours upon request.

If you were in an accident and working with insurance, we can work with your case manager or legal advisor with documents needed to substantiate insurance or workers’ comp claims.

We can provide you with a copy of your imaging files which keeps you from having to redo imaging when seeing your doctor. Our care is seamless, and we work hard to be sure you are taken care of when it comes to necessary paperwork.

Occasionally a patient needs specialty care, surgical attention or a longer hospital stay. In these cases, our physicians coordinate with area hospitals to create a seamless, expedited transition. When a transfer is required for further care or monitoring, you will not incur a second emergency room visit. Beaumont Emergency Hospital will arrange for you to be admitted directly to a room at the area hospital of your choice, or taken straight to the cath lab or surgical suite. Whether in our emergency room, observation or being transferred to another facility, BEH will provide truly exceptional care every step of the way.
