James Pugh Frazier, III
Chief Executive Officer
James Pugh Frazier, III “Butch” has been the Chief Executive Officer of Beaumont Emergency Hospital since February 2018. Prior to Beaumont Emergency Hospital, Butch served as the CEO of several hospitals over his 20-Year career including: Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City, La; Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La; Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown, Tennessee; Chief Operating Officer of The Medical Center of Mesquite in Texas; Chief Operating Officer and Assistant Administrator of Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS as well as Chief Operating Officer of Perry County General Hospital in Richton, MS. He was also previously associated with The University of Memphis Athletic Department as an Athletic Trainer.
While in Louisiana, Butch served on the Louisiana Hospital Association Board, where he testified on several occasions before the Senate Committee on Health and Welfare, regarding various topics impacting hospitals in Louisiana. He also served on the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners as well as the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce Board.
Butch received his B.S. and his MPA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Memphis. He is an active leader in the community and always willing to lend a hand to assist in community growth. He is a devoted husband to his wife Cindy and a dedicated father to their four children: Katie, Coleman, Miller and Hank and their grand-daughter Penelope.
